Students in Sandwich class spent time noticing medieval features around the town like the old windows, historic plaques and bricked up windows.
We then spent time at the Guildhall Museum learning about rope-making and made our own stained glass windows.
We walked down to St. Peter’s Church where we ate lunch and learned about how the bell used to be a signal for pigs to roam the streets.
After lunch, we learned about Sandwich’s cinque ports in the museum and did our own mock trials in a medieval courtroom!
