Castle Hill celebrated World Book Day 2024 with a range of exciting events!
Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to Adam Taylor from “The Classroom Books and Tuition” in Whitstable for delivering all of our children a free World Book Day book, over 400 books were given out for free to children in the school and nursery.
Pupils got to take their vouchers home rather than use them on these books so they have the opportunity to get another brilliant book.
Then, on Thursday, children enjoyed a Paired Reading session with another class around the school and on Friday it was brilliant to see so many parents and children enjoying our Book Sale on the playground, with all funds raised supporting the PTFA.
We already can’t wait for World Book Day 2025!
